TzubyCAMPERS Austria The Grossglockner Hochalpenstrasse (High Alpine Road), Austria: scenic routes with amazing outdoor learning opportunities

The Grossglockner Hochalpenstrasse (High Alpine Road) is a must if in Austria during spring, summer or autumn. It connects Bruck in the state of Salzburg with Heiligenblut in Carinthia via Fuscher Törl at 2,428 m and Hochtor Pass at 2,504 m.

This is more than a scenic route if you take the time to stop at all learning spots. Adults and children all together can learn about alpine flora and fauna, rocks and sediments and see weathering in its most genuine view. Playgrounds and foot paths are offered along the route.

Nationalpark-Camping Grossglockner is based right at the entrance of the road.
