The Dolomites are a mountain range located in northeastern Italy and are also known as the “Pale Mountains”.

The name was given to the limestone rock, named after the French mineralogist Déodat Gratet de Dolomieu, the first to describe the mineral in the early seventeenth century.

The most interesting part is that these limestone rocks change color depending on sunlight. Many tourists come here to climb the paths protected by the rock walls created during the First World War.

It is said that the Italian Dolomites have the most steep peaks in the world, being considered a true alpine paradise and the Bavarian alpine cities are not inferior. You can go skiing in the winter or cycling, hiking, parachuting and gliding in the summer. The Italian Dolomites were declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in August 2009.

There are numerous campsites in the area, one of the best rated being Camping Valle Verde, located at an altitude of 1,050 m, in a true oasis of greenery and flowers.
