On our way to Dune du Pilat, we stopped at #Arcachon which proved to be not only a beautiful sea resort but rather a unique destination in #France The town benefits from a mild climate due to its location between the #Atlantic #Ocean and the Landes forest, making it a year-round destination.
Much of the surrounding area, including the Landes de Gascogne Regional Natural Park, is protected, preserving its natural beauty and biodiversity. The Arcachon Bay is almost perfectly circular and it covers around 150 square kilometers. It is known for its tidal patterns, with vast sandbanks appearing at low tide. Arcachon boasts beautiful sandy beaches that cater to different tastes, from lively and family-friendly to more secluded and serene spots.
