#Biarritz boasts some of the most beautiful beaches in #France, such as La Grande Plage and Côte des #Basques that are perfect for sunbathing, swimming, and surfing. Nevertheless, if you get here, don’t miss the amazing sunsets from the Promenade de la Côte des Basques.
The Biarritz Lighthouse, built in 1834, stands on a cliff overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. You can climb its 248 steps for panoramic views of the coastline and the town. You may also visit the Biarritz Aquarium, also known as the Museum of the Sea, home to a variety of marine life, including sharks, rays, and seals. It provides an educational and entertaining experience for visitors of all ages.
No trip to Biarritz is complete without visiting the Rocher de la Vierge. This iconic rock formation offers breathtaking views of the coastline and the Bay of Biscay. Accessible via a footbridge, it’s a perfect spot for photos. Nevertheless, the Promenade de la Côte des Basques is perfect for watching the stunning sunsets of Biarritz.
Finding a place to park our camper proved to be a little challenging but there are parking options around the city. We found one next to the hippodrome at 30 minutes walking distance from the historic center also at larger distances you can find a camping and a camperstop.
