We parked our camper in the parking lot of a sports hall where the municipality has set up a special section for motorhomes. The parking lot is 30 minutes away by tram from the historic center, so our children enjoyed the trip with public transport. Bordeaux has a good public transport infrastructure and the costs are more than reasonable.
We chose to visit the city of Bordeaux because we were in the area anyway, but also because the images promoted on social media with the old center attracted us. The experience was a mix of enjoyment and a less pleasant surprise that we will talk about in today’s episode.
