The ancient theater of Epidavros, located in the northeast of the Peloponnese peninsula has an unparalleled acoustics being considered a wonder of the ancient world and included in the UNESCO world heritage.

From 1956 the performances of the old songs were resumed and sporadically special events take place, one of them being the participation of Maria Callas in the staging of the lyrical tragedy Norma, in 1960. Children under 12 from the EU have free access.

Camping is prohibited in the parking lot of the archeological site but there are several camping options at a distance of 30-40 minutes.
