Traveling with your campervan through Norway cannot miss the road that takes you right to the edge of the ocean. In 2005, the road was voted “Engineering of the Century” in Norway and is also known as the road with the most beautiful landscape in the world.
The “Atlantic Roadway” has the status of a national tourist route and the whole section between Bud and Kristiansund is a continuous experience full of coastal landscapes, culture and history. It connects Averøy with the mainland through a series of small islands and islets spanning a total of eight bridges over 8 km.
Take time for this route, but also check the weather conditions. The Atlantic Roadway experience can give you memories for a lifetime. On the route, you can park the caravan in specially designated places, climb a hill and enjoy the salty air and the magnificent view.
