The Austrian town on Lake Zell, south of the city of Salzburg, is often shaded by the lake itself. Its Romanesque St. Hippolyte Church has a distinctive tower added in the 15th century. Cozy streets cutting through a number of architectural styles have a wonderful contribution to your travel experience.
Trails lead to the ski slopes of Schmittenhöhe mountain. Good railway connections with the surrounding resorts. Nevertheless, Grossglockner Alpin Road with its breathtaking views is only 1h driving distance away.
